So much love! It’s obvious these two were made for each other.

There was a lot of emotion in the room during the toasts. Everyone had so much love, and many stories to tell.

A coin was flipped to determine who would get to say their vows first. So cute! I love it!  :)

The decorations on the cupcakes are game pieces from one of Abigail and Kevin’s favorite games, though I had never heard of it, and can’t remember what it was called. Hill Country Cupcake did an excellent job! FYI, their cupcakes are all organic! YUM!

We had a blast shooting their engagement portraits all around the Long Center, Butler Park, Auditorium Shores, and the 2nd Street District.

I want to apologize for being MIA here lately. Business has been busy here, and on top of that I had to deal with some unfortunate computer issues. I have a couple of external hard drives set up as a RAID to mirror each other (always have important files stored in multiple locations!!), and for no apparent reason they decided to erase 2 weeks worth of work. As you can imagine, I FREAKED OUT when it happened.

What the heck?! Where did it all go? I was literally looking at those files the night before, and now it’s like they never existed!!

I immediately scrambled to try and figure it out myself, but I was totally mystified. I then called Apple tech support, and the guy listened to me explain what happened, and he said he had never heard of such an issue, and “your guess is as good as mine” as to why it happened. I wanted to scream. Those are the 7 most frustrating words anyone will ever hear coming from tech support.

Ah, if only it were that easy...

The good news is that I didn’t lose any photos, because I still had my recent portrait sessions on the memory cards and I could download them again. Unfortunately, I did lose any editing work I had done, which had taken me many hours. I now had to do all that editing all over again. Boo!  :(

On top of all that, not only have I had to work to replace what I lost, but in the meantime I’ve had new photo sessions and weddings that I’ve had to work on as well!

You can see how a girl could get behind on her blogging!  :P

So now I just want to thank you all so much for your understanding and patience! I promise you I am almost all caught up, so you’ll be seeing some new posts full of pretty pictures soon!

The cupcakes we awesome. Seriously, delicious. The frosting/sprinkles color combo were in her wedding colors, which I thought was a nice touch.

One of her guests brought her adorable daughter. Those eyes! I just couldn’t get enough of her.

Ah, yes. The classic toilet paper bride game. Love it!  :D

J-D loves this girl too. I could tell that they are meant for each other… I could feel the love throughout the whole evening.

Here are some of my favorite photos from Sally & J-D’s beautiful wedding! The Inn at Wild Rose Hall was the perfect backdrop for this adorable couple and their super fun wedding. Congratulations you two! I wish you both a lifetime of happiness!

My good friend Katie Hall came out and captured some really fun images in the photo booth! Everybody had a great time getting dressed up and making funny faces.

I couldn’t resist the photo booth, so I grabbed Sally and got in on the action. Love these pictures of us together!  SO fun!!  :)

I don’t know about you, but I’m a total daddy’s girl, and therefore a sucker for photographs of the bride with her father.  :)

I loved the candles they had set up on the ground at the “altar”. It was a sweet and simple detail that made the whole setting feel that much more special.

I just love this moment where Erin is putting Jeff’s ring on his finger… or at least trying to. Jeff had to come in with the assist. Teamwork, people. Marriage is all about teamwork!  :D

And then… the kiss!

The Austin Trolley Company was on hand to transport guests and wedding party to the reception at The Belmont. Erin & Jeff even got their own private ride. Of course, I had to get some photos of them before they took off!

This image on the left is one of my favorites from the entire wedding. I feel like it could be a scene from an old Humphrey Bogart movie. Love the moody light!
